The army wants YOU to serve your town!
This board is intended for the members of the army and members of the town command structure, as well as citizenry who are curious upon local happenings with law enforcement, wars, criminals, etc.
Here I will post the established laws and regulations of theArmy, established facts about the Empires/town military structure, roles, and so on and so forth.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE ROLE OF THE SOUTHBOUND ARMY AND BASIC OVERVIEW:
Modeled after the Imperial Guard, the Southbound Army is the defense force for the town and its interests upon the continent. It has the role of defending the town from all dangers, and to protect the citizens. However, it is NOT a law enforcement agency, though it often aids in the capture of dangerous criminals due to the low number of constables in the town.

-Dabaldur is entrusted with scouting expeditions beyond the walls of the town, along with patrolling the outer perimiter and scouting out watchtower locations and writing military maps.

Gerret, Harold, Garry, (unpronouncable last name)
-The Militiamen are the rank and file, entrusted with the job of protecting the town and following the orders of the commissar. As their particular skillsets become known, they will often be promoted to specific needed duties within the Militia.
Field Medic Ovanon (spelled improperly)
-Entrusted with the role of first aid upon the front lines, the field medic is a necessary role within a military institution. OUTSIDE THE STRUCTURE:

-Captain-Commissar Availon, though having higher rank, is acting in the role of Advisor to the Militia, and thus is not subject to the chain of command.
Arbite Gallerattle
-Acting on the authority of the Elders, Gallerattle has joined the Watch with the Militia due to concerns of manpower. As such, he is not subject to the true chain of command. However, he has the right to utilize the militia to assist him in peacekeeping duties, though his place in command in military matters is subject to debate...

ESTABLISHED FACTS ABOUT THE IMPERIAL GUARD (though it does not relate to the Southbound Army)
The Imperial Guard is divided into a standard military hierarchy for the most part. Squads, companys, brigades, divisions, and regiments make up the massive armies known as a "Legion". These Legions, though usually separated into individual divisions (such as a exploratory division, the engineer division, etc.) across the mainland are led by a general. In times of war they join together into "Grand-Legions", usually consisting of 10 separate legions bound together under a Lord-General.
The Imperial Guard, being a military institution, reports only to the letter of Imperial Law and a guardsmens superiors. This proceeds up the chain to the Generals, who only follow the wishes of the Council and the Emperor. Though the Imperial Guard does not have to answer to local authorities and laws (Only to the letter of Imperial Law), wise captains will heed the wishes of the local populace, lest they fight a war on the front without a supply line.
The Imperial Guard flies the flag of the Imperial Aquila upon its banners as a symbol of the Empire.
HISTORY AND FAMOUS EVENTS OF THE GUARD:
War of the White Rose:
A two decade long war against the New Bastion Republic, the war was a terrible and fierce one. The war started over a argument on the color of a particularly important rose. Both sides claim the other side called the rose red instead of its true white color.
The war of the white rose was likely within the past 25 years (as Jenkins has mentioned of being apart of the war, and he is roughly around the age of 30-40).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Duties of the Army:
1. Defend the town from all threats
2. War against those who would do the Town and its citizenry harm
3. Assist the watch in capture of dangerous criminals
4. Guard the town jail, and the town come nightfall
5.

CURRENT ORDERS:
